Meisterwerk is building the next-generation workforce management platform to become the leading provider of project management and planning software for SME craftsman and crafts-related companies.
As Senior Backend Engineer in this concise and growing organization, you'll work with a cross-functional team to build tools that help small and mid-sized craftsman businesses digitalize and grow their businesses. By releasing often, you'll put your work in front of our customers frequently and will observe and learn about the impact you have on these highly engaged users. You'll collaborate with experts in product, design, and operations to deliver mission-critical internal and external features that drive Meisterwerk’s growth.
Tasks
What you’ll do:
Participate in Core product design and implementation for both internal and externally facing features
Maintain and extend existing backend services with a DevOps mindset (YBIYRI)
Collaborate with other Software, QA and SysOps Engineers to ensure smooth deployment, continual operation and support for quality software
Actively provide and receive code review feedback to and from other software engineers, focusing on education and quality
Provide comprehensive testing and valuable documentation for your features before shipping them
Requirements
You have 5+ years’ relevant experience in backend-focused, software development
You’re an expert in Golang
You have vast experience with service-oriented or microservices architecture, Restful APIs and operating in a cloud environment, especially AWS
You're familiar with gRPC
You’re an active promoter of good communication and collaboration, valuing trust and respect to actively shape a healthy team and feedback culture
You're experienced with Postgresql Database System
Nice to Haves:
Experience with WebSocket API technology
Knowledge of Terraform infrastructure
